It’s one of our favorite things!  Seeing the way people decorate and how they live every day truly helps inspire our own decorating.  So in honor of the holidays, we reached out to our Table Talkreaders and asked them to submit photos of their favorite holiday decorations.  The results are a unique blend of traditional and modern but are proof positive that all will create memories that will last a lifetime.

If you have photos that you’d like to share with our readers, please e-mail them to us today.

This 10.5′ beauty proves bigger is better when it comes to Christmas trees!

This nostalgic cutey dances and sings to your favorite holiday tunes. The kids will love it and your holiday guests will laugh with hysterics.

A beautiful and eclectic mix of golds and reds combines tradition with sparkle.

What would a Christmas be without those beautiful, nostalgic glass ornaments. Here you see an enviable mix of Christopher Radko ornaments, a legend in glass ornament creation.

Elves! Santas! Reindeer! Oh my! This quirky mix just gives us a giggle.

No Christmas is complete without stockings hung over the fireplace. Shhh, listen…do you hear Santa?

A holiday isn’t a holiday without celebrating with family and friends. One of our readers sent this pic of her beautiful place setting for her annual holiday dinner party. One word: gorgeous!

A special treat for your guests? Make a menu of the evening’s dinner and include your guests’ names.

A gift for your guests is a nice touch. But in these challenging economic times gifts don’t have to be outrageous. A handmade piece of jewelry, a small framed photo of the guests’children or even holiday stationery printed at home with your guests’ monogram. Remember, it’s the thought that counts.

We all love this. Why? Not because of its eccentricity or its gorgeous design but simply because of its traditionalism. The symbol of Christmas is a gorgeous pine tree and this one, with its homemade ornaments, children’s pictures and more…we just love it!

Love this one! It’s important for children to be brought into the spirit of giving. We loved this photo because here a child has picked out, purchased and wrapped gifts for each member of her family. She then placed them perfectly under her tree. Now the only problem? Waiting until Christmas to see them open it. Oh, and keeping what’s in there a secret until then!
