Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the leading provider of real estate services in the San Francisco Bay Area, announced today that Louise DeDera has returned as a sales associate in its Menlo Park-Santa Cruz Avenue office.  In her position, DeDera will specialize in residential sales in Palo Alto, Los Altos, Menlo Park, Atherton, Portola Valley and Woodside.

DeDera sold real estate on the Peninsula, from San Carlos to Los Altos, from 1978 until 1998.  During her 20-year career, she was on the Menlo Park Atherton Board of Realtors, was a top-producing agent, and ranked in the top 1% of Coldwell Banker agents internationally.

After leaving Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in 1998, DeDera worked as a full-time volunteer at Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park and the Menlo Park Kiwanis Club.  She served as president of Allied Arts Guild in 2008 and president of the Kiwanis Club of Menlo Park in 2010.

“We are thrilled to have Louise return to Coldwell Banker,” said Wendy McPherson, manager of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Menlo Park.  “She is an outstanding real estate professional and her time serving the community during her retirement has only strengthened her bond and brought her closer to the neighborhoods she works in.  That’s something her clients will appreciate.”

DeDera is an active member of Menlo Park Presbyterian Church where she has served as elder, deacon, teacher and small group leader.  She served as regent for the El Palo Alto Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution from 2003 until 2005, and was governor of the Sequoia Colony Society of Mayflower Descendents from 2004 to 2009.

DeDera began her college studies at Occidental College, transferring from there to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where she earned her both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education.
