Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the leading provider of real estate services in the Bay Area, announced today that veteran Realtor Gayle Langston has joined the company as a sales associate in its Oakland-Piedmont office.  In her new position, Langston will specialize in luxury sales in the Oakland and Berkeley Hills areas.

Langston has been in the real estate industry for 30 years, starting her career by helping her mother who was a real estate agent in Alameda.  Since then, she has worked throughout the East Bay, from Castro Valley to Danville to Oakland.  Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, she had been with J. Rockliff Realtors.

“It’s a welcome treat to be in the Oakland-Piedmont office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage,” said Langston.  “I haven’t experienced an office environment with this level of energy, community-feel and manager-support since I first started in real estate.  There is a real synergy of success and support here and I’m excited to be part of the team.”

Langston is a Certified Master Negotiator, has been recognized as top in sales and volume, and was called on by the Contra Costa County court system in 2006 to represent the sale of the Orinda home of Susan Polk.

“It’s a pleasure to welcome Gayle to our team,” said Bev Muncer, manager of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Oakland-Piedmont office.  “She is an outstanding real estate professional who has a reputation of providing exceptional support and service to her clients.  I look forward to working with Gayle and watching her career flourish with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.”

Born and raised in the Oakland area, Langston is an avid reader and a patron of the arts.  She is a classically trained violinist, was a singer in a band and supports Bay Area Girls Rock Camp.
