Coldwell Banker Del Monte Realty, the leading provider of real estate services on the Monterey Peninsula, announced today that renowned Carmel Realtor® Tim Allen ranked as the company’s top agent on the Peninsula and one of the most successful in the U.S. for home sales last year.

One of the highest regarded luxury real estate specialists in the country, Allen finished last year as Coldwell Banker’s number three agent in all of Northern California, outpacing more than 3,600 agents from Monterey to Lake Tahoe. In addition, he finished fourth nationally, surpassing more than 100,000 Coldwell Banker sales associates across the country.

In 2010, Allen was involved in nearly $100 million worth of property sales. A 25-year luxury real estate veteran, he has consistently ranked in the top 10 of agents in the U.S. each year for Coldwell Banker. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for nearly 1,000 home sales valued at about $2 billion.

“Tim is without a doubt one of the most talented and respected luxury real estate professionals – not just on the Monterey Peninsula, but throughout the country,” said Rick Turley, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. “He is the agent of choice for some of the most discriminating buyers and sellers of high-end properties. We’re very fortunate to have him on the Coldwell Banker team.”

Rita Lewis, manager of Coldwell Banker Del Monte Realty, said Allen sets the bar when it comes to local market knowledge, professional expertise and customer service.

“Tim was raised right here in the Pebble Beach-Carmel area and really has his finger on the pulse of the community,” she said. “His enthusiasm, his expertise and his experience all work together to make him one of the most outstanding Realtors in the business. It’s a pleasure to congratulate Tim for this well-deserved honor.”

Allen was recognized for his sales accomplishments during a company ceremony last month in Las Vegas as well as an event at the St. Regis in San Francisco.

From quaint Carmel cottages to beachfront estates and homes, Allen has an intimate knowledge of all the various Carmel neighborhoods – from Carmel Village to The Point, Carmel Woods to the Meadows.

Raised in Pebble Beach, Allen attended Robert Louis Stevenson School and graduated from U.C. Santa Barbara in 1984 with degree in Business Economics. He played varsity lacrosse at prep school and in college. Allen is a member of Stillwater Yacht Club and the Beach & Tennis Club in Pebble Beach. He and his wife, Lynn, have two sons and a daughter, and live in Carmel by the Sea.
