Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the North Bay’s leading real estate services company, announced today that it has named Alice Curtis as assistant manager of the company’s Santa Rosa office.  In her new role, Curtis joins Managing Broker Rick Laws to help to oversee 110 sales professionals in one of the most successful real estate offices in the North Bay.

A 22-year veteran of Sonoma County real estate, Curtis previously served as branch manager of the Central Santa Rosa office of Creative Property Services (CPS), leading a team of 150 sales associates for the past eight years.  She started her thriving career in 1989 with Polley Polley & Madsen Realtors, a franchise office that was later purchased by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.  She received the Rookie of the Year Award in her first year in business and subsequently ranked in the top tier of agents in Sonoma County throughout her career in sales.  She continued her success with CPS until being promoted to branch manager in 2003.

“Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is proud to welcome Alice to our Santa Rosa office,” said Rick Turley, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.  “She has done a tremendous job as the leader of one of the largest real estate offices in Sonoma County and I look forward to her sharing her expertise with our agents.”

“Alice is a consummate professional and an outstanding leader,” said Rick Laws, manager of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Santa Rosa office.  “She’s patient, reliable and extremely detail-oriented – all talents that are necessary when leading such a large office of agents.  I’m truly impressed with her management style and I’m excited to have her on our team.”

Curtis attributes her own time in sales as the key to supporting the agents in her office.  “I’ve been out in the trenches myself so I understand the issues agents face.  Having gone through it myself for nearly 15 years, it helps me to not only empathize but share my experiences to help find solutions to problems.”

Outside of real estate Curtis has been involved in the local community as a board member of her church’s Preschool program and through Burbank Housing, a non-profit organization that builds and rents out affordable housing for  families in need.

A Sonoma County native, Curtis lives in Santa Rosa with her husband of 32 years, Mike.  The couple has one son, Joe, and grandson, Jack.

Curtis may be reached at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Santa Rosa office located at 600 Bicentennial Way #100.  She may be reached directly at 707.535.8747 or via e-mail at
