Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the leading provider of real estate services in the Sacramento-Tahoe region, announced today that one of the area’s most experienced and successful real estate teams has joined the company. Bill Woolford, his wife, Nan Woolford, and their daughter, Libby Woolford, will work in Coldwell Banker’s Sacramento-Sierra Oaks office.

Known as The Woolford Group, the team began when Bill and Nan launched their real estate careers 33 years ago in 1978. They were joined by Libby in 2006.  All three have specialized in buying and selling traditional residential real estate in established neighborhoods in greater Sacramento.

Over the years, The Woolford Group has ranked in the top five percent of all agents at their previous brokerage and among the top agents in the Sacramento region. Bill and Nan are outstanding lifetime members of the Sacramento Association of Realtors’ Masters Club, and Libby is a life member.

“We couldn’t be happier that such talented Realtors as Bill, Nan and Libby have agreed to join our team,” said Jim Day, manager of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Sacramento-Sierra Oaks office.

“The Woolfords are known throughout the Sacramento real estate industry for having the utmost integrity, professionalism and local expertise because of their deep roots in the community and decades of selling homes here,” he said. “We’re very proud that they’re now on the Coldwell Banker team.”

Bill Woolford said the team chose Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage for a number of reasons, including the company’s extensive network, its expansive resources to support agents, and the Sierra Oaks’ management team.

“We really liked the fact that as a national and international real estate company, Coldwell Banker could help us broaden our reach to buyers and sellers beyond Sacramento – a more global approach,” he said. “We’re looking forward to opportunities to expand our business.”

Nan Woolford said the group was “very impressed with the resources the company offered to support its agents. Between the IT department, the legal department, and the marketing support, the company really offers the whole gamut to make their agents more successful,” she said.

Working with Day as their new manager was also a bonus, the agents added. “We’ve had a very close association with Jim Day for 20-plus years, and have a great deal of respect for him,” Bill said. “We’re looking forward to being in the same office as Jim and being part of his team.”

Before entering the real estate field, both Nan and Libby Woolford worked as teachers in Sacramento and Vacaville, and Bill worked in children’s social services. “I think this training helped us in real estate,” Libby noted. “We certainly learned how to multi-task, which comes in handy with buying and selling homes for clients.”
