Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the leading provider of real estate services in Northern California, announced today that Michele McKay has joined the company as a sales associate in its Orinda office.  In her new position, McKay will specialize in residential sales in the Lamorinda area.

Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, McKay worked as a licensed architect and owner of McKay Moran Architects in Lafayette and Sacramento.  She has worked in architecture for more than 25 years in the Bay Area and throughout Northern California.

McKay has completed several intensive training programs in “Green” buildings and homes and is a LEED AP, Certified Green Building Professional, New Home GreenPoint Rater, and an Existing Home GreenPoint Advisor through Build It Green in Oakland. 

McKay earned her bachelor’s degree in art history from the University of California, Berkeley and did her post-grad study in fine and decorative arts with Sotheby’s Works of Art Course in London, England.

In addition to her love of art and architecture, McKay enjoys traveling and fly-fishing – particularly saltwater fly-fishing.  A golfer, she is a member of the Northeast Bay Chapter of the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA).
