Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the leading provider of real estate services in Northern California, announced today that Kirby Riggs has joined the company as a broker associate in its Palo Alto Downtown office.  In her new position, Riggs will specialize in residential sales throughout the San Francisco Peninsula. 

With a background in interior design and home staging, Riggs earned her real estate license in 1988 and began her career on the San Francisco Peninsula.  In 2000, she moved to Roseville where she joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Granite Bay/Roseville office and quickly became one of the company’s top producing agents. 

She went on to earn her broker’s license in 2007 and worked independently as Kirby Riggs Associates for four years, specializing in Sun City Lincoln Hills, a 55+ active adult community located 35 minutes north east of Sacramento.  She recently returned to the Peninsula and Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.HillHH

Riggs has earned the Certified Relocation Specialist (CRS), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designations.  Most recently, she became a Certified Senior Move Manager (cSMM) and began addressing the concerns of seniors who are downsizing their homes.  She also offers professional staging consultation, management and design execution as part of her real estate business. 

Riggs graduated with distinction from San Jose State University with a bachelor’s in speech pathology and audiology.  She went on to earn certifications in residential interior design and kitchen/bath design, and received the coveted Top Designer of the Year Award from Canada College.
