Pat replaces Mike James, who was recently appointed president of Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties in Hawaii.

In his new role, Pat will report to Rick Turley, president and chief operating officer for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in the Bay Area, and help oversee nearly 3,000 agents and 48 Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage offices from the North Bay to the Monterey Peninsula.

Prior to his appointment, Pat was the managing broker of the company’s highly acclaimed Saratoga office, managing a team of more than 150 real estate professionals. The Saratoga office is one of the highest producing residential real estate offices in Silicon Valley and among the top offices nationally for Coldwell Banker.

Over his distinguished 36-year career, Pat has been an award-winning sales associate, manager and owner of his own real estate brokerage. Prior to being named to managing broker in Saratoga, he and his wife, Rita, were a sales team based in the Saratoga office.

“From running his own brokerage, to serving as a top agent to managing a team of agents, Pat has always been extremely successful, including overseeing one of the top offices in the Valley and the country,” Turley said. “He has earned a tremendous amount of respect from agents for his leadership and dedication to their success. I know he’ll do a great job in helping all of our sales associates in the Bay Area take their businesses to a new level.”

A Silicon Valley native, Pat grew up in Santa Clara and graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in accounting. He also was a helicopter pilot in the Vietnam War before getting his college degree. Pat began his real estate career in 1976 and spent 18 of his 30 years in real estate as an owner or manager of brokerages.

Pat is a member of the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

“I’m excited and truly honored to have the opportunity to help lead Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage,” Pat said. “We’re fortunate to already have such a strong foundation as the Bay Area’s number one real estate brokerage. We’re proud of the fact that we have many of the top agents, not only in the Bay Area, but in the country. I look forward to doing whatever I can to help them become even more successful and better serve their clients.”
