Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Northern California’s leading real estate service company, announced September 16th the winner of its statewide Facebook page contest.  Angelique Lastinger from El Dorado Hills won a two night stay at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino in Incline Village.

The month-long, statewide contest was held in conjunction with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s new California lifestyle blog,  Fans were encouraged to “like” the company’s Facebook page,, and submit their name to enter to win the Lake Tahoe giveaway.  The winner was chosen randomly from more than 600 people who entered.

The contest was just one way Coldwell Banker is expanding its communication with consumers via social media.  The California Home blog is designed to provide useful, creative and fun information for those living in California or hoping to do so.  It has received nearly 17,000 views since its April debut.  The number of its Twitter followers at @CB_California, has grown by nearly 10 percent and its Facebook page followers more than doubled since January 2013.

Coldwell Banker has committed to increasing its online and social media presence on a national level, in an effort to gain more exposure for its agents, clients and listings.  In its latest YouTube contest, “Life, Camera, Action,” the company is encouraging homeowners to submit a 2-3 minute video tour of their home, featuring kids and/or pets, on its On Location YouTube channel for a chance to win a $25,000 grand prize. The contest ran through September 22.
