Since 2005, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Greater Los Angeles has raised funds to provide financial assistance that directly benefit the needs of the communities we serve through our Coldwell Banker Community Foundation. By combining the resources of our company’s agents, staff and affiliates, the foundation has raised over $700,000 for 178 charitable organizations throughout Southern California to date.

The latest example of the Coldwell Banker Community Foundation’s fundraising efforts arrives on September 18, 2013 with the 3rd annual Private Preview Screening at The Grove in West Hollywood. In collaboration with the Beverly Hills South office, the foundation will host a very special viewing of Ron Howard’s new film, “Rush.” Proceeds will benefit UNICEF, The Maple Counseling Center Beverly Hills and the Coldwell Banker Community Foundation, in general. Tickets cost $150 per guest, which include a 6 p.m. reception with wine and hors d’oeuvres plus the movie screening at 8 p.m. For those who only want to attend the movie screening, the cost is $100. Joyce Rey, who is spearheading the fundraiser, says her goal is to reach $30,000 this year—a 50% increase from last year.

“This event is our way of giving back while enjoying a favorite Hollywood pastime,” said Rey, who serves on the Southern California Executive Board for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF and the Coldwell Banker Community Foundation Board of Directors, in addition to volunteering for numerous charitable organizations. “It’s always a delight to see Coldwell Banker agents, staff and friends coming together for such great causes. It shows our company’s dedication to our community.”
