Starting today, California’s top Coldwell Banker Previews International® property specialists will gather at Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes for the 2013 California Previews Retreat. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Pacific Ocean, the three-day retreat brings luxury tastemakers, industry thought leaders and tech gurus together for an annual meeting of the minds.

“As always, it’s a time for the best and brightest California real estate agents to network and learn the latest trends in the marketplace,” said Betty Graham, president of Previews® NRT. “The California Previews Retreat is always a welcome break from the hectic pace of real estate (not to mention an excuse for some to capture some sunshine by the pool or play some golf). But at the very end of the day, it’s a moment that allows our agents to shine in the luxury real estate space they know so well. It shows  our company’s commitment to leading the high-end housing market year in and year out.”

Graham shares that they have an exciting and thought-provoking agenda planned. “Like in years past, we will provide a comprehensive outlook on the luxury sector,” she reveals. In a testament to increasing Asian demand for California real estate, Tina Mak, a Previews property specialist in Vancouver, will discuss how to market properties to Chinese buyers. Top luxury leaders from Joyce Rey to Tim Smith will share their insights on best practices for 2013. Several industry insiders will also lead updates on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies. And finally, there will be talks about the importance of video and social media among younger generations of affluent buyers—with Previews’ social media star Christophe Choo speaking, plus discussions on “what’s possible.” When it comes to being informed about the luxury market, just about anything is possible with Previews!

“Since we host these retreats each year, our luxury specialists—and our clients—have the competitive edge,” concludes Graham. “We believe knowledge is power. It’s the Previews difference.”
