On Saturday, October 26, the lights over Raley Field in West Sacramento will be out. In fact, the entire area will suffer from a temporary blackout as The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s annual Light The Night Walk parades through the grounds. Families and friends will gather late Saturday afternoon to celebrate and prepare for a walk that honors those whose lives have been affected by leukemia and lymphoma, and raises money for the continual pursuit of a cure for the variations of the diseases.Leading the charge for Team Coldwell Banker is none other than Kris Vogt; former Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Sacramento’s Man of the Year 2012 and Coldwell Banker Sacramento/Tahoe Regional President. Making an addition to his list of humanitarian efforts, Kris has been the corporate walk chairman for the Sacramento local chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. As Chairman, Kris has been working through the past year with leaders of local companies in order to find ways to strengthen corporate and business support to the organization.

A special note from the Greater Sacramento Area Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society:

Become A Champion For A Cure!

Every walker is encouraged to become a “Champion For A Cure” by raising $100 or more to help support the work of hundreds of the world’s best and brightest researchers in their search for better therapies and cures for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. If you are able to be a Champion For A Cure, you will receive a t-shirt, wristband for food and beverages, and a illuminated balloon; red for supporters/friends/family, gold in memory of loved ones lost, and white for survivors!
