SACRAMENTO, Calif. – January 8, 2015 – Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Northern California’s leading real estate services company, announced today that four of its local agents and one of its managers have been honored with prestigious awards and key appointments from the Sacramento Association of Realtors (SAR).
Ron Greenwood of the Sacramento Sierra Oaks Office was inducted as the 2015 president of SAR and also received a Community Involvement Award. Judy Black of the Folsom Office and Chip O’Neill of the Sacramento Metro Office were sworn in as directors of the organization.
In addition, Doug Covill of the Sacramento Metro Office was honored with a Community Involvement Award and Political Involvement Award, while Clay Sigg, managing broker of the Sacramento Fair Oaks Office, was honored for his work on California Association of Realtors (CAR) activities.
All of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage appointees and award winners were recognized at the North Ridge Country Club in Fair Oaks yesterday at the association’s annual induction and awards banquet.

Greenwood has been a licensed REALTOR® for more than 21 years, and has managed three different brokerage offices during his career, helping agents grow and develop their business. He has been active in local and state professional organizations, including serving as a director for CAR for the past 10 years. He’s a past president of SAR’s Master’s Club, was elected to the Carmichael Water District, and is a Sacramento County LAFCo commissioner.
Black has been a real estate professional for more than 20 years and has been active in a variety of industry organizations over the years. In addition to SAR, she has served as president of the Sacramento Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors.
O’Neill received his real estate license and joined the Coldwell Banker team in 1999. He has been involved in a number of professional organizations, including SAR, CAR and the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
Covill, a 34-year real estate veteran, was honored with SAR’s Community Involvement Award having served as a Planning & Design Commissioner for the City of Sacramento. He was also recognized for his local political involvement on behalf of the industry organization and the profession. He is a past president of SAR, 2008 REALTOR® of the Year and also a long time state director.
Sigg has enjoyed a 40-year real estate career, serving as an agent, managing broker and broker/owner. He has been deeply involved in local, state and national REALTOR® organizations during that time. He is a past president for SAR, a former Sacramento REALTOR® of the Year, and is serving in his 30th year as a state director for CAR.
