Over 150 Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Sacramento independent agents, clients, friends, family – and a group of very special guests from Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center – came together to cheer on the Sacramento Kings during an evening of basketball, barbecue and charitable giving.

Prior to tip off Coldwell Banker hosted a fun tailgate where guests were able to mix and mingle. As a special treat, 20 lucky guests won access to the “High Five Line,” which allowed them to walk onto the court prior to the start of the game and high-five the Kings players as they entered for warm-ups. They were also allowed to stay on the court during the warm-ups. Talk about a front row seat!

During another special moment, Coldwell Banker Sacramento/Tahoe presented $5,000 each to two very worthy local charities, Positive Coaching Alliance and Habitat for Humanity, in a courtside check presentation.

Positive Coaching Alliance is a non-profit whose mission is to develop “better athletes and better people” by working to provide our youth and high school athletes a positive, character-building youth sports experience. Habitat for Humanity works locally in Sacramento to help families in breaking the cycle of poverty and building long-term financial security with affordable, stable homes allowing those individuals to allocate their funds to things like food, medicine, child care, education and other essentials.

Furthering community ties, 30 tickets were donated to the Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center, which was founded in 1936 in order to provide a residential program for teens unable to live in their own homes. Today it offers programs for children after school and in the summer, teen programs, senior programs, emergency assistance and participation in the neighborhood and larger community. The mission of Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center is to help build healthy communities through individual, family and neighborhood services. We had a wonderful time with Stanford Settlement and were humbled to receive this adorable thank you video from them.

Coldwell Banker is proud to serve the greater Sacramento area – a region filled with promise and gumption – and looks forward to more events like the Night at the Kings.
