The Patriots and the Steelers kick off the NFL season tonight. With the first college games already in the books, football season is officially underway!

We’ve been gathering all of our favorite football party ideas—from tasty game day snacks like pigskins in a blanket and football calzones to sporty decor like sports turf coasters and football shaped tissue pomsover on Pinterest to get you ready for the next 17 Sundays (and beyond, depending on how well your team does this year).

Now, for those authentic “dye” hard fans out there, we have three fun ways for you to show your spirit this season with color.

Paint Your Room with the Official, Licensed Colors of Your Favorite Team

Glidden Paint offers a special Team Colors line of paint that are prefect matches to college and professional sports team’s colors. Sold at Home Depot, you can shop more than 600 official colors. Paint one or all of the walls in your bonus room, man cave, child’s room or anywhere you choose to sport your colors. Does your team have bold colors like Chargers blue and gold? Or maybe you root for the Raiders and silver and black feels a bit dark. You can still incorporate your favorite team’s colors. Try using a neutral base and then adding stripes. For example, a Niners fan might go for beige walls with a simple red belt.

Turn Your Food into an Authentic, Edible Cheer Card

Get creative and infuse your next baking project with some team spirit. McCormick has an amazing Football Team Color Guide that shows how to turn white frosting or cake batter into the perfect hue for your favorite team by adding the appropriate mix (as indicated by drops) of food dye. Once you have your team’s shade of frosting or batter on hand you can make true-hue Raiders cookies 49er jersey cupcakes or a Chargers bolt cake.

Channel Your Inner Designer

Armed with a design program like Photoshop or Illustrator, you can create your own printables, invitations and decor in authentic colors using this NFL PMS Color Guide. You can reference the infographic to locate your team’s colors, or if you want the entire NFL roster, just download, import and design away. It should be noted that not all of these colors are official, but for those looking for a good design guide, it appears to be the best one out there right now.
