Everyone defines romance a little differently. After all, one person’s candlelit dinner and boxed candy is another person’s “meh” moment. Luckily, the folks at OpenTable have helped us hone in on what makes a dining spot particularly seductive. Is it the food? The ambiance? The service? All of the above? The just-released #OpenTable100 Most Romantic Restaurants list is based on “an analysis of more than five million reviews of more than 20,000 restaurants across the country – all submitted by verified diners,” according to the site. Not surprisingly, California dominates the list with 15 restaurants. From the French cuisine at Aly’s Restaurant in Solvang to the gorgeous Forbes Island in San Francisco, there is bound to be one elegant eatery that will satisfy your SO’s Valentine’s Day expectations with its service, sights, smells and tastes.
