Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the Bay Area’s leading real estate services company, announced that Kathryn Tomaino, an independent agent in the company’s Los Altos office, has been honored with the President’s Award from the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors®.
Tomaino was recognized for her dedication and hard work on several of SILVAR’s committees, including serving as chair of the organization’s Tour Policy Committee, “where she ensures that the member benefit and experience on tour is nothing short of excellent,” said SILVAR’S 2015 President Chris Isaacson.
Isaacson also praised Tomaino’s work in legislative advocacy and the defense of property rights through her service on SILVAR’s Local Government Relations Committee and the SILVAR Legislative Committee.
The President’s Award, one of SILVAR’S top honors, was announced recently at the association’s installation event at La Rinconada Country Club in Los Gatos.
“I couldn’t be more proud of Kathryn for receiving this honor,” said Greg Boudreau, manager of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Los Altos. “Kathryn epitomizes the best in the real estate business. She exhibits the highest level of ethics and professionalism, provides outstanding service to her clients, and continually gives back to our industry through her work with SILVAR. We congratulate her on this well-earned award.”
A 30-year real estate veteran, Tomaino was immersed in the housing market growing up. She’s a second generation Realtor® whose father was a farmer and also sold orchards in the valley. He had one of the biggest sales in Santa Clara County at the time when he sold the property that is now Sunken Gardens Golf Course in Sunnyvale for a record $1 million.
Tomaino has been affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage since 2001. Prior to her association with Coldwell Banker, she was involved in property development and management for over 10 years with De Anza Properties in Sunnyvale.
Formerly trained as a nurse, Tomaino earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of San Francisco. She credits her work as a registered nurse and her education for giving her many skills she puts to use in her real estate career, not least of which are critical thinking, public relations and client advocacy.
Tomaino is located at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Los Altos office, 161 S San Antonio Rd. She can be reached at (650) 917-5804 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
