Batter up! Coldwell Banker Independent Sales Associates, staff, and their friends and family were treated to a first-class experience at the Oakland Coliseum on June 30 during one of the Bay Area’s most beloved baseball traditions: The Battle of the Bay.

The #CBBattleoftheBay brought together Coldwell Banker folks from all over the Bay Area and beyond for a good old-fashioned showdown between the powerful San Francisco Giants and the fierce Oakland A’s.

Upon arrival at the Coliseum, guests were taken to their luxury suites where they were met with delicious food, amazing views and awesome company.

They had a great time mingling amongst one another, greeting familiar faces and meeting new ones.

But the party couldn’t start without some silliness beforehand. Cutouts of the players, along with some fun baseball-themed props, were used to take pre-game photos before the on-field action began.

And once that first pitch was thrown – it was on.

The intense game had many jaw dropping moments throughout, including Buster Posey’s three-run homer in the third inning and the surprising decision to let Madison Bumgarner bat in place of a traditional DH (designated hitter) that had a huge impact on the Giants’ winning score.

Throughout the exciting game, guests sat, stood, and even jumped for their respective teams, making it all the more memorable.

A’s fans even received a visit from Stomper, the official mascot of the Oakland A’s, who stopped by to take photos and encourage cheering for the East Bay team. And because there’s nothing but love in the Bay Area, Giant’s fans happily posed with Stomper, too.

This night was truly a home run for #CBBattleoftheBay, no matter which side of the battle you were on.
