2016 was a great year for the Coldwell Banker Sacramento/Tahoe Community Foundation and the Coldwell Banker Tahoe/Truckee Community Foundation. From playing blackjack at Monte Carlo Casino Night to teeing off golf balls at the Charity Golf Tournament, the Foundation hosted a number of events throughout the Sacramento/Tahoe and Tahoe/Truckee region that brought together Coldwell Banker Independent Sales Associates, staff, family and friends for a worthy cause.

The Coldwell Banker Sacramento/Tahoe and Tahoe/Truckee Community Foundations are nonprofit organizations that are made up of affiliated sales associates, managers and staff throughout the regions that volunteer time, talent and resources to their local communities. Through their fundraising events, the Foundations raise and donate monetary contributions to Sacramento-area and Tahoe/Truckee-area organizations that share the Foundations’ mission of giving back.

Thanks to the participation of many, the Foundations made cash donations of over $50,000, while agents and offices provided additional estimated contributions of materials, supplies and labor for a total donation of over $100,000 in 2016.

The benefitting organizations include:

  • Rotary Club of Sacramento (Pony Express)
  • Alpha K9
  • Courage Worldwide

Coldwell Banker was one of the major sponsors of the inaugural Pony Express Marathon that took place on Sunday, May 1. In fact, the company was the only real estate company to sponsor the big event. In addition, the Coldwell Banker Sacramento/Tahoe Community Foundation and the past president of the Coldwell Banker Sacramento/Tahoe region Kris Vogt and Independent Sales Associate Marianela Giem presented a $25,000 donation to the Sacramento Rotary Club’s past president Dave Cohen, the event’s organizer.

Coldwell Banker Charity Golf Tournament | September 26
