Welcome to the Peninsula

The San Francisco Peninsula (or “The Peninsula,” as it’s known locally), is located just south of San Francisco and extends into Silicon Valley, making it one of the most conveniently located – and sought after – regions in the San Francisco Bay Area. While many of the Peninsula’s residents work and play to the north or south, the Peninsula has many attractions in its own right, including some beautiful wilderness and recreational areas.

Living in the Peninsula

With close proximity to both San Francisco and Silicon Valley, there is an abundance of public transportation allowing residents to commute north or south with ease. Residents also enjoy proximity to a world-class education system, collegiate options like Stanford University, and tech neighbors like Facebook and Google. With quaint downtowns, such as Los Altos and Mountain View, residents can discover unique boutique shops, art studios, and great restaurants, all while strolling along and enjoying comfortable weather year-round. The Peninsula has two coasts, the San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean, while the Santa Cruz mountains divide the region in half, providing abundant space for hiking, biking and outdoor recreation.
